Belmont Lake

Our private 80 acre lake, known as Belmont Lake, is one of our centerpieces of the community, located in the heart of Ford’s Colony. This man-made lake is over 30 years old, is surrounded by mature hardwoods and pines, and is the home to many different species of wildlife. It is a peaceful place, perfect for birdwatchers and nature lovers alike.

Our Home Owners Association provides kayaks and canoes for use by Ford’s Colony residents. Please stop by the security hut on Belmont Farms Parkway to sign a release and receive your paddles and life preservers.
